Grounding Electrode System

The grounding electrode system consists of the wiring to various grounding electrodes like the water main, building footing rebar, structural steel, and ground rods, and is essential to facilitate the quick operation of overcurrent protection devices in the event of a short circuit or fault, for the stabilization of voltage, and to direct voltage to earth in the event of a lightning strike.

Common Reasons for a Service Upgrade or Electrical Panel Replacement
